Linda Magáthová
I work as a freelance translator and interpreter.
In 2012, I completed my master’s degree in translation and interpreting, focusing on German and English, language and culture, at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra (academic title Mgr.).
I have started with translating, interpreting, and teaching foreign languages during my studies. I have gained many valuable practical skills, and I am continuously developing them. Right after my graduation, I jumped straight into work and got experience working as a project manager in a translation agency, as a German and English lecturer, but especially as an interpreter and translator.
I mainly use German and English in my professional and literary translations, but also, to a lesser extent, Polish.
Automotive industry, logistics and technology are my favourite areas of interpreting – that’s why I interpret mainly during various industrial training courses in production, or when plants and factories are moved, and here I particularly use the German language. Foreign languages are not only my profession, but my hobby as well. Therefore, I am constantly expanding my knowledge. Currently I am preparing for the DELE Spanish language diploma.
I will be more than happy to help you with your project!
